So far this month, automotive technology companies secured most funding, $1.8 billion, across just eight rounds, followed by fintech with $1.3 billion across 46 rounds and AI with $725 million across 21 rounds.

CarpeCarbon has raised €1.8 million in a pre-seed funding round led by CDP Venture Capital's Tech4Planet initiative, alongside 360 Capital, Club Degli Investitori network, and PiemonteNext co-investment fund. CarpeCarbon focuses on developing Direct Air Capture technology aimed at removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere for industrial applications. Read more

Tech Spark AI has successfully closed a $1.4 million pre-seed funding round, featuring investment from TD Bank, Salesforce, the Canadian government, and NBA Canada. Proxima Fusion has extended its pre-seed funding round, securing an additional €8.2 million. The funding comes from unicorn founders, family offices, and industry leaders. Every.io, a USA-based startup, has raised $9.5 million in a seed funding round led by Base10. The funding also saw participation from various investors. Every.io provides an all-in-one platform for corporate money management, HR, payroll, benefits, accounting, and taxes, catering specifically to startups. Read more

Morf Health, a USA-based healthcare technology company, has successfully secured a seed funding round with participation from LaunchNY, Formus Capital, Asymmetric Capital Partners, and several individual investors. Morf Health focuses on providing a platform to connect healthcare tools, synchronize patient data, maintain a unified view of patients, and streamline operations. Read more

CFX Labs has closed a substantial $9.5 million seed funding round led by Shima Capital. The funding also includes participation from Decasonic, Antalpha, CMT Digital, Corazon Capital, Hard Yaka, Kraken Ventures, New Form Capital, Metropolitan Capital Bank & Trust. Efenco has secured €4.9 million in a Series A funding round led by Ivo Remmelg for EstBAN Syndicate, with support from the European Innovation Council. Efenco is focused on developing Cold-Plasma-Assisted Carbon Neutral Combustion (CPA PAC) technology for industrial heat production with the aim of reducing carbon emissions. Read more

SWITCH Maritime has raised $10 million in a Series A funding round led by Nexus Development Capital. SWITCH Maritime focuses on developing electrified, zero-emission battery and hydrogen fuel cell-powered ferries. Read more

AireXpert has secured $3 million in an oversubscribed Series A funding round led by Reformation Partners. The round also included participation from LaunchNY. AireXpert specializes in providing aerospace and aviation collaboration and automation solutions for airlines and MROs. Read more

Deep Sky has closed a significant Series A funding round, raising $54.6 million. The funding was led by Brightspark Ventures and Whitecap Venture Partners, with participation from Investissement Québec, OMERS Ventures, and the BDC Climate Tech Fund. Upway has closed a Series B funding round, raising $30 million. The round was led by Korelya Capital and included participation from Sequoia Capital, Exor Ventures, and the European Climate Fund Transition. Upway operates an e-bike marketplace for buying, selling, and educating about e-bikes. Read more

Databeyond Technology has raised almost $100 million in a Series B funding round led by Sequoia China, with support from Fortune Capital and Matrix Partners China. Databeyond Technology specializes in providing AI-based waste sorting equipment. Read more

Boreas Technologies has secured $12 million in a Series B funding round. The round was led by undisclosed investors. Boreas Technologies specializes in haptic semiconductor platforms for consumer and industrial applications. Read more

Pineapple has closed a Series B funding round, raising $21.3 million. The round was led by Futuregrowth and included participation from Talent10, MIC, Old Mutual ESD, Lireas Holdings, ASISA ESD Fund, and E4E Africa. Pineapple provides cost-effective insurance solutions. Read more

Global Blue, a retail technology company specializing in tax-free shopping, has secured a strategic equity investment of $100 million from Tencent. Global Blue provides technology and payments solutions for retailers and shoppers. Read more
