More than 1200 funding deals have been announced so far this quarter, already higher than last quarter, which recorded 1166 investments in tech, according to TF Analytix data. In terms of money raised, startups need to raise $15 billion more in Q4 to match last quarter’s tally of $43 billion. In Q3, there were seven deals worth $1 billion or more, versus just three so far this year.
I tried to convince an LP that now is an amazing time to invest in tech and as such, we haven’t slowed down our investment pace. He disagreed - not at the bottom yet.
